Fulham's New Back Line

When Paul Konchesky's suspension forced Carlos Bocanegra to slide over to left-back, that opened things up for Lawrie Sanchez' 5th centre-back pairing of the season. After 3 games, Aaron Hughes and Dejan Stefanovic appear to be just what we're looking for:

Southhampton Awards Ugliest Player of the Year

Baird: not good enoughChris Baird was awarded Southhampton's 2006/07 Ugliest Player of the Year in a ceremony last night. The former Saints defender is now at Fulham, where he is currently injured. Many Fulham supporters see the injury as a blessing, since they feel he is Championship quality and has no business on a Premiership squad.

Making Our Defence Suck Less

We're now 7 games into the 2007/08 season, and Fulham is sitting 17th in the table, just outside the relegation zone. Despite this standing, there have been plenty of positives. Last-Minute Signings

With the transfer deadline tomorrow night, Fulham still has a few holes to fill. Injuries to Brian McBride and Hamuer "Hammertime" Bouazza have left us thin up front. For Bouazza's spot on the left wing, Lee Cook is coming back from injury soon, and seems that he would be the natural replacement. Clint Dempsey has been our attacking utility man, and has provided cover the past couple matches.
