Anybody tired of Manchester United?

Me! They're better than us, deeper than us, and seem to give us more trouble than most of the Premier League's elite. We'll be a bit more rested this time, which I felt was a huge problem for us the last couple tries. Dickson Etuhu's facebook agreed. Let's hope for more WAR tomorrow.

I've been slowed a bit lately as I'm sure you've noticed - busy times at work will do that - but I have some fun stuff up my sleeve. In the meantime, player stats and tables are all updated again. How good has Chris Baird been when called upon? Per minute, he's done almost as much as Brede Hangeland, which is especially impressive considering the number of positions he's been asked to cover and the quality of opposition he's faced. He probably deserves to start somewhere, but as always, who does he replace?

Changed a few things in terms of layout and accessibility, decided a fluid-width layout works better. Some things don't look right, but I'll use the "i'm not a web designer" excuse again. Also noticing a lot more spam, so I turned the image CAPTCHAs back on...now with nicer fonts. Content-wise, working on a shot quality analysis which might paint some of my defensive stats in a different light. Specifically, how much of our defence is goalkeeping, and how much is our defenders forcing low-percentage shots?
